San Diego’s GasLamp District for New years?!?!?

I’m going to the Gas Lamp District for New Years and just want to know if there is any chance to do bar hopping or is everything pretty much reservations only?!? Plus any suggestions for cool bars that night would be appreciated!!

You can always bar hop. Go to Dick’s Last Resort and you can get good and drunk and give the famous attitude to the servers. Then you can walk down to the water later on for fireworks. Plus there are dozens of other clubs you can walk in and out of for a drink or three.
