Okay this is another cost to my family project… Can you tell me about security systems available in Miami and how much they cost? I really want ADT or Brinks, so if you could give me the prices for those 2 u’ll be a great help!!!
When you purchase from ADT or Brinks, you usually pay an installation cost, perhaps some upfront for the system, and then you sign on to a 3-5 year monitoring contract that you pay monthly. When its all said and done, you end up paying for your system a few times over. The better option is to do it yourself. There are many companies that now cater to this model, and you can purchase, at a low cost, the exact same systems that you’d be getting from a fully comprehensive company. You can then purchase monitoring for less than $10 per month. Its not that hard. If you can follow directions and use a screw driver, then you can install and program your own system.
