It’s true that newer guitar strings will be a little more buzzy until they break in. However, your guitar needs regular maintenance like any other guitar. Its very likely that the neck needs to be adjusted. Its probably bending backwards. If you look inside the sound hole at an angle, up around where the neck meeds the body, you will see a small hole with a piece of metal coming out of it that looks like a bolt with a hex head. Thats your truss rod. That needs to be adjusted regularly (3-6 months on most guitars). Your guitar is a bit cheaper, and it may need more frequent adjustments. It sounds like your neck may be bending backwards a bit and that truss rod should be turned counter clockwise a bit.
Since your guitar is cheaper, it may not be worth it to keep bringing it to a guitar store and having them do setups on it. There is limited maintenance on acoustics, but the truss rod is the most important part of it. I’d suggest getting to the library to see if they have some books on guitar setups and read it at your leisure. You can also google a few sites online or youtube.
I will include 2 sites, 1 that I get strings at, and the other has some tools and books/dvds on guitar maintenance. I typically use D’arco guitar strings which are made by Martin and by far cheaper. They are less than $3 per set, but you have to buy a few sets to offset shipping and handeling. They also carry the more expensive strings. I’ve used this brand for several years and never had any issues.
