Starting Home-Based Interior Decorator Business?
My wife recently started a home based business. She does interior decorating work such as custom made draperies and valances ect… we have a a couple clients so far. My wife even got some business cards. Im working on the website.
We ran into a problem, im joining the military and may be stationed out of the state. What I was wondering is what is a good state that would be good for a home type business for interior decorating work? The target group we are looking for is Older well-off folks. Younger folk seem not to be into things like that.
Or anyone that does similar work give me some advice?
My husband runs a home-based decorating company in the burbs of Chicago and does great! A lot of “Old money” up here. He places ads in the classified sections of the local papers in the wealthier communities and has a lot of word of mouth referrals from his existing clients.
