Today more and more children are having their rooms decorated with their own desires, designs and themes. A nice addition to each room would be a lamp of their choice. Touch lamps have many designs on the shades and would go well in a young child’s room or a teenager’s room.

In 1984, writer/producer Britt Allcroft, also of England, ran across the series and brought the stories to life as Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, but later simplified it to Thomas and Friends. The TV program became a hit around the world. The first storyteller in the UK was Ringo Starr of The Beatles fame, later George Carlin and Alec Baldwin became storytellers in the U.S. Today many children continue to enjoy Thomas and Friends.
