i need to know if this was a good gift for a wedding ?

i could not afford much at this time but i found a tiffany lamp on sale for $50.00 , new . my brother will be getting married in February , and i know they need furniture and home furnishings. i bought this lamp and it has 3 tulips { the bulbs are in the tulip cups } and a dragonfly. this is the first time he has been married and me being on a budget , i am just wondering if this is appropriate ? anyone have other suggestions … especially something cheap but maybe needed ? thank-you in advance for all suggestions and comments.
ok , i need to add … she lives in an old farmhouse at the moment .. and it has very little as far as modern decor. they are getting married at the courthouse in feb. so there will not be a wedding { they can not afford it } and there will be no bridal registary. they are just needing basics and she likes the color green { the lamp has green tulips and a red dragonfly } and will look fine placed on a small tabletop alone. hope this info. helps.
