Any “day in the life of…” series begins with pictures of what the subject does in the early morning, then going to do whatever it is the subject does, then pictures of the subject doing whatever it is, and finally ending up with pictures back home again after it’s over. For a fireman, for example, it would involve waking up at the firehouse, washing, dressing, maybe cooking breakfast with the other firemen, then maybe drilling or classroom, or whatever it is firemen do while waiting for the call, then if there is a call, suiting up and going, what they do there, cleaning up afterwards, maybe consoling someone who has been damaged by the fire, and the afterwards back at the firehouse. Just take pictures that show all these things happening.

BUT…and for you this is a big but for you, my friend, and that is that you need to clean up your grammar and spelling. Just taking the pictures only works if someone else is doing the writing, and editors don’t like to do that if they can get both from one person. Guess which is easier: teaching a photographer how to write clearly and well, or teaching a writer how to take a picture? Now, get busy!
