Before you get a little excited let me first give you a little story about how he started home theater. It is believed that the home theater become popular in the early 1950 during a time when Kodak 8 mm film projector equipment became affordable. The advancement of audio and video systems also paved road for home theaters to reach a new paradigm. Here are five general categories of equipment, devices and / or other apparatus to create build a home theater:
Input Device – first things first, you need some sort of player to access your favorite movie. There are many options – HDTV, Blu-ray DVD, VCD, and can also use your personal computer or video game systems. Of course each has its pros and cons.
Processing devices – Usually provides a more enhanced home theater experience using separate AV receiver / preamp and sound processor for complex formats sound.
Audio output – most people are happy with 2 additional speakers and a subwoofer, but you can add more as they desire.
Video Out – your options include a screen HDTV, LCD TV, plasma TV, video projector, rear-projection TV or those on a tight budget, TV Typical CRT can also do the trick.
Atmosphere – the style of chairs, movie posters, vending machines, specialized furniture, sophisticated interior room or theater or any other idea you might think that will make you and your guests to think and feel they are actually inside a movie theater.
Apparently, the more you want to experience a true home cinema to see more it will cost. But you really do not have to buy expensive equipment. Can start a piece at a time. Also remember that it takes true creativity and ingenuity to put your own home theater.
