1) There should be loaded XP Pro, you get absolutely no benefit from it. I hope that in reality not pay for it. 2) You may have to reinstall the drivers for your wireless network card. Go to another machine that is online and download them to a unit flash, floppy, or something. Take it to your machine and install. 3) If you have enabled security on your wireless network - then you will need to determine the code you need to allow the connection. If not enabled, simply log in - but I definitely recommend enabling it to keep people drive past your home to connect to it and you end up in trouble for something to do with it.
