Reviews HID / Xenon conversion kits for the light?
I have been looking on eBay HID / conversion kits xenon light to change my lights halogen age in my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee these lights much brighter. I have read however, that these HID lights can sometimes have a beam spread from cover the original light is not made for the lights. Opinions and comments on personal experiences would be great, Thanks! Are any of these illegal conversion kits in the U.S. due to blind other drivers?
I have four of these kits in my private vehicle, all eBay purchases from the same seller. I can tell you that there is some small difference in the beam that goes from a standard halogen lamp sealed in a projector housing, but in reality it is not as big a difference. A good example is my wife 2002 WRX has a standard enclosure, and my daily driver is a 2005 lancer evolution, with the housing of the projector, and the same temperature bulbs (6000k) light is a bit more centered on the Evo, the WRX, but nothing that distracts from driving. I can tell you will not regret the switch. Just stay with a good color temporary, and not anything too extreme and you'll be fine. I would suggest either 3000k (yellow), blue 6000k (pure white) or 8000K (average). These will be brighter your (6000k best) and give you what you're looking for.
